KEITH MITCHELL
I joined Rolls Royce in 2025 after coming along to a lecture and was impressed with the welcome and quality of the club’s program and the standard and inspirational images in club competitions.
It's difficult to remember a time when I did not take photographs, following in the footsteps of family members who were keen photographers who passed on the photography bug to me.
The thing I like about photography is trying new genres and editing techniques so the passion for it never wanes and is constantly evolving.
I use a Sony system and am a passionate user of Photoshop. I have my own studio and enjoy printing out my images for competitions.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, my principal photography was primarily studio-based, focusing on people and fashion. However, after I changed direction and returned to Landscape and wildlife photography, I also took up drone photography over the last three years, which has become very addictive.
Another great aspect of the RRDPS is its summer events, which not only offer excellent photo opportunities but also provide enjoyable social gatherings where people can connect, share insights, and exchange knowledge.
